As a portrait photographer I have photographed celebrities and “no names”, strangers and friends and since I became a mother I have attended to families and little people too!

I share the same approach to family photography as I do in creating my exhibition work and choose a natural and honest style to capture the essence of the portrait sitter in a non-invasive way.

Understanding the delicacy of a newborn baby and the attention span of toddlers I take time with my families. You can add pregnancy, celebration events or couple shots to the repertoire with anything from candid reportage style shots to posed head and shoulders portraits - anything is possible to create the ideal vision. Photos are usually taken in locations that are familiar to you: as close by as your couch, backyard or your favourite park. The aim is to make the shoot feel like a visit from a friend!
